Our Patients
This
page is dedicated to our patients. We are fortunate to have
so many people that find our work valuable in their extremely
busy and active lives. We want to share some of them and
their achievements with you. Virtually all of them subscribe
to the same philosophy as we do...life is meant to be lived
and the minute you stop moving...you begin to fall apart.
Never give up. They don't. Neither do we.
Lisa Novak "You have changed my whole perspective on what I can achieve with my body.
Cheers, Lisa"
Angela Tieri "Dr. Covey was an invaluable part of my marathon training. Thanks to her I was able to get my aching
hamstrings under control, and successfully finish the Boston (3:55) and Big Sur (3:28) marathons just 13 days apart with no injuries"

"Thank you SO MUCH for your treatments so far. The ART has been invaluable to me - to my continuing recovery and to my mental sanity. I
only wish I had known about you during the FIRST two years of my injury."

"Lisa is an outstanding healthcare provider, not only for her ART and chiropractic
work but also for her holistic approach to body work. Her caring and compassion
are always evident in her sessions. Lisa consistently takes the time and
energy to explore how various aspects of the patient's life may be contributing
to the aches and pains. With Lisa's therapy, guidance, and encouragement, I've been able to stay healthy while training for and completing
multiple
ultramarathons. Many thanks to Lisa and Rikke for all their kindness and
support!"

"The trip of a lifetime - I didn't think I'd be able to stroll
the beaches of Crete, much less do this strenuous hike to some distant
ruins. Thanks Dr. Lisa and staff for helping get my plantar fasciitis onto
a healing path without invasive techniques!"

"Dr. Covey has helped not only get rid of the pain I was feeling every
day, but also has improved my way of thinking about my body and lifestyle.
Thank you for all your help, Dr. Covey!"

"Thanks for keeping our rickety old bodies performing like well oiled
machines...
I am
very grateful for Fitwell Chiropractic. They were recommended
to me separately by several different people including
a trainer at my gym (Conner McGuire) and two teammates,
Millie Dydasco and Annie Hoddinott. Millie struggled for
years with an injury that she referred to as her "butt
thing". She tried all kinds of stuff but never got
any relief. Finally she tried ART and was very pleased
with her results. Unfortunately for me I developed the
same problem and I constantly felt like I was going to
pull something....I was very uncomfortable running much
less trying to break out into a sprint. After working with
Lisa only a few times, I felt comfortable running again
and over time, I think I even improved my speed. I believe
that working with Lisa helps me continue to participate
in this game I love. Another thing I find very valuable
is the help I get from Rikke. She takes customer service
to a whole new level!
Anyhow,
thanks Fitwell!"

"In a culture where we are usually too rushed, too busy and too impatient
to listen to each other much less our own bodies, Dr. Covey is the rare practitioner
who truly takes the time to get to know her patients. She embodies patience,
compassion, knowledge and skill. More importantly, this is all topped off with
a highly intuitive nature and warm personality that makes for a unique personal
yet professional style that is rare. She listens and gets to know what you
need in order to maintain a higher level of fitness and wellness. She has taught
me to pay attention to the signs in my body and how my lifestyle impacts my
health. Dr. Covey continues surpass my expectations in every way each time
I visit her. Thanks Dr. Covey!"

"For over a year, I couldn't make the pain in my shoulder go away, despite
stretching and resting. I saw an orthopedic surgeon, who told me that a cortisone
shot would be the next step. I was sure that a less invasive solution existed.
Lisa was that solution, and it was not only less invasive, but more effective.
She's great!"

"We're all roommates on this big ball. The creator lives vicariously through
us all as we learn a little more each day about who we are. I don't know where
I'd be without this guitar and all the cool and crazy people that I've met
thus far."
Thank you Dr. Covey.
